We are expecting a large shipment of pottery to arrive in late May and are very excited to see the new patterns that will be introduced this year.  You can expect to have new pottery arrive at the shops sometime in June.  For those of you that are on our email list, you will be the first to know when the pottery is available.  There will be many one-of-a-kind Signature or Unikat pieces this year at discounted prices!  Here are a couple of pictures that we received from our agent in Poland showing examples of some of the Signature pieces that we may be receiving.  Some of the items pictured are Quality 2 or Quality 3 BUT we only order Quality 1 pieces.  For those of you that are not too familiar with this, Quality 1 pieces are the highest quality of Polish Pottery available while Quality 2, 3, or 4 are pieces that have some kind of defect.  Many of these pieces are sold on Ebay and other stores.  The Timeless Kitchen only carries Quality 1 pieces.  Every once in a while our shipper will include a quality 2 item even though we did not order it.  When this happens (very rare), we clearly show the Quality 2 green sticker and greatly reduce the price of the item.  Here are some images of pottery that may be arriving in May!

The Leesburg Court of Shoppes enjoyed its Grand Opening Celebration on Jan 1st & 2nd and it was a huge success!  Over 300 customers stopped by to check out the newly remodeled shop, eat food, enjoy wine, and win some door prizes.  The Loudon Times Mirror released a story about the shop with a video.  You can view it at the following link:

Yes, you read right.  The shop had closed down for about a month and a half before getting new management (just long enough for us to take out our entire inventory of pottery!).  We are now in the process of moving our pottery back in. You can find information about the shop here.

The shop is currently being remodeled and will open its doors to the public on November 26th ~ Black Friday.  However, its grand opening will be on January 1, 2011.  We do hope that everyone will be able to come out and enjoy the festivities on that day.  The new management is working hard to create a warm and inviting shop where customer service will be a top priority.  We will be stocking the shelves with new patterns and forms that were not previously there.  It would be worth your drive to check out some of the new pieces!   Claudia

The Timeless Kitchen will be participating at the OWC Fundraiser at Bolling AFB this Tuesday, September 21st, 2010 from 10:00 am -2:00 pm.  Attendance is by invitation only.  We feel honored to be able to participate in this event and contribute most of our profits made at this event to this organization which uses the monies raised for social events such as Hail and Farewell gifts, bringing in guest speakers, hosting International Wives coffees, just to name a few.   We owe a great deal to our military so it is a privilege to be able to help in this manner.

The Timeless Kitchen Polish Pottery will be participating as a vendor at Haymarket Day.  We didn’t attend last year as a vendor but we did attend the event as a family and had a wonderful time.  We hope that many of you will be able to visit this year and we hope to see you there!

The 38th annual Lucketts Fair is just around the corner and The Timeless Kitchen will be there displaying and selling our beautiful pottery.  The Old Lucketts School, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, serves as the backdrop for this genuine, old-fashioned country fair held each August in beautiful Loudoun County, Virginia. 

It is scheduled for August 28 and 29, 2010 from 10 AM ’til 5.  Please check out their website by clicking on the image below and plan to attend for a fun weekend that the whole family can enjoy.  We hope to see you there!
